Crackling when recording with saffire

Question

Hi i'm wondering if anyone has experienced a crackling sound when recording. Its not heard when recording only when replay of tracks occur. Is there something that i can shut off as it may be an issue of the hard drive churning not sure what the issue is any help greatly appreciated.thanks carmwww.xerobugs.com
