Craft Ideas for Girls?

I'm going to be watching two girls, ages 8 and 9. I don't have time to go out and pick up craft materials, so I need lots of ideas of crafts and/or activities that I can hopefully do with the stuff I have here at home.

you should make crowns for the girls. it is so easy and fun for their age. all you have to do is mtake two sheets of cardboard and some glitter.you cut a crown shape in the cardboard the you can either paint it yellow or not, it really doesn't matter. then you staple both sides together, so you can wear it like a hat. the ypu put some glue on it and pour glitter all over it.Instant perfect crowns for the two princesses.

they'll have as much fun making the corwns as actually wearing them.

Bread Dough Clay

2 cups Flour

2 cups Salt

1 cup Water

Mix together and star having fun. Coil Baskets , Pinch Pots , Figurines .

Bake at 250  for 1 or 2 hours depending how thick the projects are . Hours of fun ;)))

NOT KNOWING WHAT SUPPLIES YOU HAVE MAKES ITS HARD TO TELL YOU WHAT CAN BE DONE. THEY CAN TRACE HANDS ON CARDSTOCK PUT THEIR NAME ON IT, EMBELLISH IT THEN LINK TOGETHER WITH STRING, CUT A HEADER AND WRITE ON IT, LIKE MOMS LITTLE HELPERS ORETC. THEN TIE ON TOP., STRYOFOAM CONES MAKE GREAT DOLL BODIES, CUT OUT ODD PIECES OF FABRIC AND PUSH INTO FOAM THEN TAKE 2 PEICES AND SEW TOGETHER FOR HEAD,STUFF WITH EXTRA FABRIC, THEN ADD HAIR, PUSH AND GLUE INTO TOP OF CONE,DRAW FACE WITH PERMANENT MARKER..LOTS MORE IDEAS BUT IF YA DONT HAVE THE SUPPLIES, NO SENSE TELLING YA!!
