  1. You take a blue dypatta and tie it at one end and another in ur hand and tell students that it is a sea and let all of them react as any of the sea animal.

  2. There are some really cool websites I use on my site. Check it out if you like, they all help me out a lot. Good Luck!

  3. you can  make jelly fish using boxes and covering them with bubble wrap.

  4. Craft ideas:

Have the children paint a large piece of corrugated cardboard blue. This is their piece of the sea. As they complete the following crafts, tape each sea creature to their sea.

Make star fish. Have precut stars. The children spread glue over it and then dip it in the sand bin.

Make jellyfish by gluing party streamers to the back of  1/2 a paper plate. Kids can draw a face on the plate.

Have children paint two very large precut shapes of fish on opposite sides. When they dry staple the shapes almost all together and then have the kids stuff it with paper from the recycling.

    My son loved this activity!

  5. how about the little mermaid, get it, under the sea??

and what about blue paper with colored paper fish.

You can have them color fish that you printed out for them

  6. i have 1 word (MARKERS)

  7. lots of blue satiny material you can shake about like the sea with fish etc on it. cardboard boxes always keep, millions of uses. large shells mermaids seahorses etc.

  8. Finger paint

  9. When my daughter was that age she brought home 'finger paintings' from preschool and when I asked the teacher how they kept the kids from eating the paint she told me her non-toxic secret was using PUDDING for paint.  My daughter loved painting there!

  11. You could arrange for them to create a diorama of the ocean with a box. Maybe paint the insides blue and have them make fish and other decorations with construction paper. You could create teams and have a little contest to see who makes the best one =P

How about a coloring book? Take some/ draw some pictures of different fish and have them color.

If you want some activities that don't include arts and crafts, you could have a puppet show/ play a movie with the theme and give them goldfish crackers XD Maybe get some fish-shaped cookie cutters, then bake and decorate the cookies when they're done.

Or if it's possible, take them to the beach (:

  12. you should get the safe crayola blue clay and you guys can make fishes and all kinds of sea animals with them plus its mess free

  13. Hi, I go to www.kidzone.ws for my kids. They have a crafts link with different templates to choose from. Also they have printable worksheets and lesson plans. Good luck.

  14. buy some small flower pots and then have them paint and glue stuff on them. kids love making things for there parents so encourage that they make something for someone. also a good one is pasta in the toilet papers roles. use fabric on the bottom with an elastic around so that the pasta inside don't fall out. let them be creative with colors and pictures on there maracas!! these things an both be themes as water and under the sea because you can let them create cut of fish and things to clue on, also the maracas could be like the sound on waves or something cute like that. hope you have fun and enjoy doing the cratfs with your kids.

  15. have a paper lunch bag, fill it half way up with newspaper and then tie it up with masking tape. have the kids paint it blue. put eyes on the side and and red smile on the front. you have a whale. its it really cute!

  16. you can get large pasta shells. have the children paint and sprinkle salt on top of them. then when they dry, it will give them a sandy effect.

hand octopi...put one hand print down. then use the other hand to overlap that handprint, creating the tentacles.

any kind of art with sand.

my favorite (and the kids fav)...make sea bottles. collect coke, water, .. 12 oz. plastic bottles. let the children put sand in it, small shells(you can buy at craft store), small sea animals, ... fill with water. add blue liquid paint to make look like ocean. make sure the lid is on tight. then the children have their own observation bottles.

make fish from small paper plates. cut the mouth out in a triangle shape...u can then glue this on for the fish tail. have the children paint it, add sequen, glitter, ....

hope some of these help. good luck! :)
