Craftsman 358.352070-14 chain saw start problem

Question

have cleaned carb and replaced gas oil mixture. seems to not be getting fuel to the carb. does the carb **** the fuel in or is their a pump that has to be replaced. i can see a filter in the tank attached to the fuel line. how is the best way to analyse fuel problem. thank you, mac
