Craftsman 42cc chain saw

bought this saw in 04 new.been pack up and when you run the saw and it get hot .when you shut saw off and let it sit it will vapor lock.had the saw to too shop and they can not fix saw.no warranty to old.how can i fix so i dont loose my money.
