Not one to shy away from controversy or give a rats *** about what fans think, Helton is seeking to repackage the Craftsman Truck Series in order to “spice things up a bit.” Sources close to Helton, speaking on the condition of anonymity due to threats to their wellbeing, say Helton is concerned over the television ratings for the Truck Series and has decided to rename the Series as the Busch Series. The announcement was met with widespread excitement by the NASCAR fan base until it became clear that the name change would not reflect sponsorship from Busch beer but would instead be a tribute to the hottest driver in NASCAR, Kyle Busch.

sure but you could rename the sprint cup series the Busch Series too because he has 7 wins and is leading by 240 points and is having a Dale Earnhardt/Richard Petty type season.

Are you serious?  I guess that would be cool.  Busch is much shorter then Craftsman.

My only question is don't they name the series after the sponsor who backs with the most $ and contractual agreement.  Would Ky. Busch be the sponsor?  Or would bush beer be the sponsor.
