Crafty decorations?

Question

I am in need of some new decorations for my room. I thought it would be cool to make something. Does anyone have any ideas? My room is bright blue, green, orange, and pink. I would prefer some cheaper stuff.

If anyone has any ideas also where to buy cute, unique, and cheap decorations let me know also.

My newest thing is using styrofoam as wall art. By using scrapbook paper (there are billions of designs) and some one inch ribbon  you can create some really cool stuff. I just did it a few weeks ago and it was super easy and turned out really cool.

My fav thing to do is paint or embellish my furniture. Like if you can go to a salvation army. U can get a nite stand for like 5 bucks. No matter what the finish, and paint it the same colors. Then go nuts w/those flat sided marbles, glass old pics. Also, u can get a flat piece of wood, paint it the same colors and go to home depot get mirror pieces and glue it on to make a mirror mosaic. And u have a new mirror and some crazy lookin decor for ur wall!  Hope that helps!
