I'm sick of all the posters and photos! I need some better ideas, something to bring some color and interest into the room!

  1. www.RockYourWall.com has a lot of cool room accessories like PBTeen for way less money. Colored magnetic dry erase tiles, cork tiles and so much more for a very cool and functional style tile bulletin board!

  2. Go to a thrift shop and get old frames.  Paint them all the same color and either hang them empty or put fabric in them.  Use lots of them, even hanging some close to the floor.  Get the largest frames you can.

  3. I'm assuming you're female.

I took beaded strings and hung them lengthwise on the wall. I used strands from an old beaded curtain. Then I hung my jewelry off of it--necklaces, sunglasses, earrings, etc.

It's great for organization, helps me find pieces I want to wear faster, and leaves more surface area open (since no more jewlry box to take up space on desk, counter, vanity, etc.). It's visually interesting, and I got a lot of compliments on it.

Don't put the expensive stuff up though, as college students like to steal.

  4. There is a huge assortment of removable wall stickers available now a days.  Try Lowes.com maybe go with plain circles and squares in different colors.  They have stickers for most any interest.
