Wales’ manager Chris Coleman believes that the explosive winger’s time in the welsh side is far from over and he expects him to be a major part of his plans in the future.
One of the more senior and experienced members of the Wales international team, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Craig-Bellamy-c9471, is the last of his generation of players still playing for the national side and Wales manager, Chris Coleman, expects him to continue being a major contributor to the team as well.
Bellamy has had a solid season for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 Football Club, where he plies his domestic trade, in the Barclays Premier League and was one of their most influential players, scoring two goals against his former club Manchester City in the Carling Cup semi-finals.
His feisty attitude and no-holds barred approach to the game often make him a fan favourite while at the same time evoke a chorus of jeers from the opposition fans.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chris-c9006 Coleman hopes to add some of that passion to his side and remains confident that the 32 year old winger will take part in Wales’ qualifying campaign in the World Cup.
He said, "I always thought Craig would play in the World Cup qualifying campaign because I've had various conversations with him and they have always been positive,"
Coleman went on to elaborate that Bellamy’s role would be more than just a squad player as his experience and ability would make him a, “big part of our plans. And if we are to do anything in this qualifying campaign then we have a better chance with Craig being part of it.”
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wales-c3041’ manager also pointed out just how regularly Bellamy had featured in the national set up and explained that his commitment to the cause could not be called into question. He said, "People tend to forget Craig is 32 and has won almost 70 caps. You don't get those if you don't turn up so I expected him here."
If Wales do make it to the 2014 World Cup it will be interesting to see whether or not Bellamy will take part in it or whether he will announce his retirement from international football by then.
