was an integral part of the team, scoring crucial knocks in both the semi-finals and finals.
With his County side now two matches away from achieving the Champions League title, the 23-year-old hoped that the team is able to win it, even if it means him taking a back seat.
“It would be great to do something like that. At the end of the day whatever I can do to help the team win is best. As long as the team goes through, I'll be happy to even not get too many runs or dismissals,” he said.
Kieswetter, like many other International stars, suffered a loss of form following the T20 triumph. However, he staged a comeback in the team and since then, has retained the opening berth in the limited overs format.
When quizzed about the dip in form, the wicket-keeper said that it was going back to the basics which helped him gain confidence.
“A dip in form at the international level gets publicised and it can affect your mental preparation and performance and that's what happened to me. I played at the domestic level, went back to the basics and regained my self-belief,” said Kieswetter.
