The England wicketkeeper/batsman, Craig Kieswetter, has expressed his desire to play Test cricket and understands that he will have to work extremely hard in order to replace Matt Prior.

The wicketkeeper has so far played 36 ODIs and 18 T20 Internationals and is known for his ability to strike the ball hard, as he already has one hundred and seven international half-centuries under his belt. Kieswetter provides utility to his side as he
can open the innings as well whenever needed.
However, most former cricketers believe that the youngster is yet to fulfil his potential at the ultimate level of the sport. Kieswetter expressed that he has been labelled as a limited-overs specialist but he wants to make a mark as a Test cricketer.
He said, "They have always been strong. They never wavered, even when I had a slight dip in form and got left out of the one-day side. I would love to play Test cricket and I have made no attempt to hide that fact.”

The youngster further revealed that he is working extremely hard to enhance his keeping skills and gives equal importance to all the formats of the sport.
"As much as I have to think of one-day cricket as well, four-day and Test cricket is definitely on my radar. I have the one-day gloves and the Twenty20 gloves, and Matty Prior has the Test gloves. It's my job to push him as hard as I can in the Test format,"
the aggressive batsman said.
