Craigslist ad?

Is there a way to search for something in Craigslist where you search the whole database and not have to go through each city individually?

There used to be a way to do this, a guy came up with a way to search every city for whatever you were looking for in what categories existed...then Craig sued to take it down saying it violated the point of the site... I don't get the guy or the site trying to stay steeped in the BBS of the 80's.
