  1. scam

  2. is shes offering you more than what you ask for, its definelty a scam.. i get the exact same emails from people when i have stuff on ebay, theyll send you a fake paypal email making it look like you got your money, be careful

  3. SCAM

Give  him/her a counter offer.  He/she sends all of the money to you.  After it clears all the banks, then you send the merchandise.

  4. i thought paypal was for the purpose of defeating scammers

  5. It's a scam. Alot of people selling items on Craigslist gets emails like that. I wouldn't do it if I were you.

  6. Absolute scam. As a rule..never do business like this with someone whom you've never met before. Don't be a statistic!

  7. ~I think it's a scam.... don't mess with it!~

  8. I wouldn't do it.  Sounds fishy to me.  But craigslist is a good place for a lot of people to advertise their stuff, BTW.

  9. I do not think it is a scam but make sure you get your money before sending it. just to make sure.

  10. I say not.  Sounds like they are interested and you would have to send anyone that info if they were going to pay with paypal.

If you receive payment, then you are good.  I'd check those shipping charges though, require insurance, and require signature for delivery.

  11. hello - its a scam.  keep it with in the US and try to do a in person cash transaction if you can.  if not, make sure the check or paypal clears (usually means at least a week for both).  good luck.

  12. It sounds similar to a scam used when you try and sell a vehicle online.  The difference is that in the vehicle scam they offer to send you a bank check for over the amount your asking, but it turns out the bank check is a fraud.  I believe paypal will protect you?

I wouldn't ship it until paypal puts the funds in your bank account.
