My period is ALWAYS the same every month -- I get PMS symptoms (bloated, crabby, etc.) 1-2 days before it starts, and I always get cramps the day I start, and they go away after that 1 day. Well this month, I started cramping a little over a week and a half before my period was due, all day long for a few days, then it went away and hasn't been around for a week since! I have been TERRIBLY bloated for 2 weeks now which is not like me - and it keeps getting worse, I swear it looks and feels like there is a balloon in my abdomen! And had some changes in my body's discharge, so I went to the doc. She tested me for bacterial infection, and a host of other things that could cause those symptoms and it all came back negative, except for a tiny bit of yeast so she ruled it a yeast infection. But I have had a bunch of those before (when I was on the pill I used to get them every month!) and they normally ITCH LIKE CRAZY!!! This one hasn't itched AT ALL and it's been over a week...so not sure what's going on.

Husband and I had unprotected s*x the first week of my cycle this month, after I quit taking my BC pill, Yaz, halfway through the month last month...could I be pregnant? Not quite late yet, period is supposed to start tomorrow so we'll see about that part of it, but the waiting is driving me crazy!! Has anyone else had something similar to this happen to them?

  1. It maybe ur body adjusting 2 coming off the pill,i was on the pill for 5 yrs i had a period 9 days after coming off the pill (may this yr)have also had 2 chemical pregnancies since coming off it one in july and another in aug this yr see how you go to see if they come or not if they dont try a HPT or go see doctor good luck.

  2. your could be but it is more likely that your body is adjusting to the pill not being there.

think about it, there is sudden a 'space' in your hormones, so effectively its a hormone change like being pregnant.. but not.

you may also find your b***s get sorer, and the period may last longer and have PMS/PMT symptoms and cramping during it as well.

you may get tired too so plenty rest and vitamins c.
