I'm almost 8weeks pregnant and I've been having some crampy pain since about 5weeks. Today I've been having kind of off and on sharp pain that is quick and doesn't last long it's on my right side then left side then sometimes in the middle of my pelvis. I don't have any other cramping and I don't have any bloody discharge. I've been having morning sickness just nausea and no vomiting for the past week now. Is this pain normal? Should I just rest for a day or two and see if it goes away?

  1. i had this at 5wks also. i went to the ER just to make sure it wasn't a etopic pregnancy, and it wasn't. the dr just told me it was digestional pain, and stress magnified it. he told me to eat lots of green veggies.i would just get it checked, mine got so bad i thought i woould pass out!

  2. some achenes is normal in the beginning of pregnancy but I'm not sure if what you are describing is normal i would rest and probably contact your doctor if you have seen one yet I know alot of ob don't like to see you until are 9 weeks but i am sure if you felt the need to see one sooner they would see you since you are almost 9 weeks anyways.  Good Luck and congrats on the pregnancy.

  3. That also happened to me. It was just because the baby was growing though. It's nothing serious!

  4. Some cramping could be due to gas. But it also could be a sign of miscarriage. I would ask my doc

  5. it is normal. this is your uterus stretching. when turning your body do it slower and slowly get up when you are sitting.this will help with some of them.

  6. This can be completely normal but get to an ob right away so that they can decide what is going on. Most likely it is implantation pain. Seriously though get an appointment ASAP.

  7. Sice it is ib different sides, I would be pretty sure that it is just everything growing and stretching.  Even at just 8 weeks, your uterus has actually doubled in size.

I went to my OB last week with localized sharp pain on my left side.  An ultrasound was done and I found I had a cyst, which is what is causing my pain.  Cysts are very common, so that may be where some of your pain is coming from too.

If the pain has you doubled over or you start bleding, definitely call your OB

  8. if your concerned i would call your doctor

everyone is different with different situation, you cant compare with others...

  9. I would go to the doctor because I think those are signs of a tubal pregnancy...my sister had the same symptoms and thats what it was. For your sake I pray I am wrong. Good luck!
