I am 23 weeks and 4 days pregnant. All day I have been having this really bad cramps that feel just like a period. I tried going to the bathroom and it wasn't that. Does anyone know what it could be and if it is something to be concerned with?

  1. I also felt the same cramping feeling every now and then during my pregnancy.  It always feels like my period.

I was told that it was your uterus stretching.

Unless it is accompanied by bloody discharge, lightheaded or dizzyness, then you should be fine.

You can always call and ask your doctor for reassurance :)

  2. Unfortunately cramps can be normal during a pregnancy.  I had cramps like period pain all through my pregnancy and now i have a healthy 4 month old daughter.  I'm sure things will be fine, just take it easy for a couple of days and if you're still concerned see your dr.  Good luck
