Cramping on left side at 13 weeks?

I am 13 weeks pregnant and last night I had some really bad cramping on the left side down at my hip area. I has gone away this morning but I was wondering if any one else has had this. I thought it was really weird since it was only in one spot on one side every time it cramped. Any ideas?

i had it bad and my doctor told me it was my ligaments stretching i still get that feeling and im 33 weeks so good luck but still mention it to you doctor its always a good idea!! i was worried because it was only on the left side but everything was fine!!! Good luck!

with my second pregnancy i did. Ran to the emergancy room but everything was ok.  The nurse told me that the only time i should worry is if i'm bleeding or the pain doesnt go away.
