Question:

Cramps after ovulation?

I believe I ovulated on the 25th or 26th, from the ewcm and positioning of my cervix. Anyhow, my hubby and I baby danced on the 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27th. Today is the 29th and I am having sharp stabbing pains near my left ovary. It was very bothersome today (not so much yesterday though). What I am wondering is why I would have cramps AFTER I already ovulated. I know it's too soon to be directly correlated to pregnancy but I'm curious. I also know that I'm not ovulating late or anything (my cervix is low and my cm is pretty scarce). Also, the ewcm usually lasts for 2-3 days and I only saw it once and it was gone. Any suggestions, stories, advice, or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

  1. it could be a progesterone symptom, but if you're in a lot of pain you should talk to your doctor, you can test an hpt 12 days after ovulation, good luck! you can also ask a doctor online for free, try the site FertilityTies

  2. I am wondering if maybe you have a cyst? I was just reading about ovarian cysts and that they can sometimes rupture around the time of ovulation.
