Craps winning numbers?

A friend said his bday is the winning numbers on craps, what are they?

Most likely when people say winning numbers in craps, they mean the passline.

If you roll a 7 or an 11 on the first roll, you win.

So, I believe his birthday is either July 11th or november 7th.

Most likely July 11.

Interesting riddle. He must be talking about the number 7, as no other number will win consistently. There are 6 possible combinations of 7 for dice:

1 6

2 5

3 4

4 3

5 2

6 1

As you can see above, there is only one logical pair that could be a year, '61 (unless your friend is very old, in which case you could make a good estimate: 61= ~40, 52 = ~55, 43 = ~65, etc.)

None of the pairs could be a month, so he was born in some combination of:

1/6/61

2/4/43, etc.

Or, he could just be extremely lucky and be born on 7/7/77.
