  1. Best way to store home cooked baby food is to freeze it. In an ice cube tray is good.

  2. OK. When you have pureed the food put it in an icecube tray and freeze it. Once frozen knock out the cubes and store in freezer bags. Purees with milk added last for 10 weeks. Fruits and veggies 3 months and purees with meats 10 weeks.

  3. Try this book "Super Baby Food". It has recipes and instructions.

  4. To make baby food: Cook the food then puree it! As the baby gets older you can mash it instead so that it's a bit lumpy and they learn to chew.

To store baby food: The easiest way to store food for little babies is to use an ice cube tray - make sure you get one that lets you pop out individual cubes and has a lid so the food stays clean, and so you can stack the trays if you have more than one. They only eat 1-2 cubes of food at a time.

  5. There are a scad of websites that explain how to make baby food. I just did a google search with the terms "making baby food". This one looks promising for making - http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/

Most baby food can be refrigerated for a short time, then frozen in plastic ware (label it) for longer periods. Directions can be found at the reference link.

  6. I used ice trays and plastic wrap. a block should be one serving. if you fo fruit in one tray and veggies and rice in another....freese them and they will be good for a few days. When you want to feed him just take a block of fruit or vegggies and put them in a container (not together of course) and put it in the fridge for that day. (for example the first thing in the morning)

I did this and I was able to just make it a few times a week. and store the rest.
