Crate 120watt Fxt120 Distortion Problems?

Hi I have a crate fxt120 amp and when i use the distortion channel i get a lot of feedback. The louder i turn up the volume the more feedback I get. How can i fix this problem, do i need to buy a new part?

Feedback can be caused by anything from a bad cord to cheap guitar pickups. It may or may not be an issue with the amp.

Try another cord, try another guitar, see if you can isolate the issue a little more.
