Continuing from Part 1 of the preview of The 2012 Ladbrokes Golden Jacket Trial Stakes, we will now discuss the remaining three hounds named as Killishin Apple, Perfect Charmer and Crossfield Sofia in Part 2.
Remember, in the first part, we mentioned Wellview Jazz, Lordsbury Cookie and Robbos Rose for the Open Race of 714m category Flat, scheduled to be held on January 27.
Killishin Apple
The black dog last won a race in November, 2011. Since then, he has finished fifth in four and second in three events in a row. Whelped in January, 2010, the trainee of C Kyme ran his maiden race on May 31, 2011, winning it at first asking. In the
early days of his career, he notched up some excellent top spots. However, he has been off-coloured in the last three to four months.
As a whole, Killishin Apple has been winning every now and then. He has achieved at least four favourite tags so far.
As per these stats, it is assumed that the dog will deliver an impressive performance tomorrow, and probably finish second or third, giving tough time to Robbos Rose.
Perfect Charmer
Trained by N Carr, Perfect Charmer often infuses charm in his races by demonstrating brilliant performances. The black dog last won in December 2011, with a margin of 2 lengths. Beginning his career on June 11, 2011, he has amassed five victories so
far.
Whelped in June 2009, the novice hound possesses immense talent, and great skills which are likely to help him thrive this Saturday.
The son of Kinloch Brae and Confident Aoife is also likely to be the favourite, and form a competitive triangle, with Robbos Rose and Killishin Apple. The trio will fight for the second spot.
Perfect Charmer will break from trap 5 to run at about 714 meters over the flat track. His trainer would be hoping to get a clean break.
Crossfield Sofia
Crossfield Sofia has an outstanding track record. Trained by J Luckhurst, the black and white b***h has accomplished four glaring victories since November, 2011. This success streak has boosted her morale, and she is going to be a potential contender,
and a hot favourite for the weekend’s event.
Whelped in March 2009, the b***h made her debut on October 6, 2010. Though she lost a few in the middle of her career, but she did not allow the lean patch to extend, and regained momentum soon.
Since last few months, the daughter of Droopys Vieri and Crossfield Way has been in great from. She will break from trap 6 tomorrow, eyeing the wire right from the get go.
Conclusion
In the light of the stats of the two parts of this article, it is concluded that Crossfield Sofia will draw the highest bankroll, and end up with first position in The 2012 Ladbrokes Golden Jacket Trial Stakes. While Robbos Rose, Killishin Apple and
Perfect Charmer will fight for the second position.
