Crayford dirt track, declared Ardera Hats and Broadtown Paxo the speedy winners of the lure chase
The meeting of Crayford scheduled different Grade A shows, covering the trip of 380 meters and 540 meters. Two hounds who grabbed the spot light in wrapping up their quest with extreme swiftness was, trainer Pat Thompson’s Ardera Hats and Julie Luckhurst’s

Among the twelve shows held on the 14th of October, nine chases were organized, covering a distance of 380 meters, rest of the three races covered 540 meters distance for the purse.
For trainer Pat Thompson, the black dog, Ardera Hats, took the honour to bring the purse home through his electrifying chase. The hound was not placed in with the highest bets, but his hidden talent was shown to the Crayford race course.
The two-year-old was sent in the Owner’s Bonus Series A6 – Final with the odds of 4/1. As the signal was received, the young hound dashed through trap 6 with immense promptness.
His surging speed caught every one’s eyes, though the ideal hound Manuka Queen, the fawn b***h was placed in with the best odds.
Maintaining his tempting surging speedy attitude, Ardera Hats soon was spotted at the pointer station. Railing along the track with the leading position eventually the victorious hound was able to wrap up his 500 meters quest, in total 24.07 seconds.
Whereas the most favourite participant of the show P Tompsett’s Manuka Queen, was the last one to cross over in 24.94 seconds.
Show stealer of the 540 meters race was trainer Julie Luckhurst’s young champion Broadtown Paxo. the result of this chase were quite surprising, because Pat Thompson’s black b***h who is also a half sister to the 380 meters speedy winner Ardera Hats, Ardera
Saphira was sent in with the highest bets, but inauspiciously she finished sixth in the combat.
With the odds of 9/2, the purse winner Broadtown Paxo railed through the track with an amazing surging speed. His swift early pace became a major advantage for the hound, in no time he was able to attain the pointer position.
Her threatening entry helped her in whitewashing the lot of hounds, and in 34.51 seconds she was not only the winner of the £500 purse but J Luckhurst’s hound was declared as the speedy winner of the meeting.
The triumphant hounds victoriously placed themselves in the limelight and their eye catching performance helped them in winning the purse as well as the title.
