HELP i'm confused.com

had a think about it and worked out that if you're crazee you may not be aware of the so-called nornal way of being. but, on the other hand, the 'crazee' one might be aware of anything not available to others to be aware of. the crazee one may not be aware of the ability to be aware of things, nor will the so-called normal person be aware of what the crazee one is aware of.

i do know subconsiously that you are not aware of my awareness of you expecting me to give you a sensible answer. on the other hand i'm aware that after reading this you will not be aware that really i'm crazee.

lol..... i think so. here is my theory. when some one is crazy are they really or does their brain recieve things that normal brains do not. i mean take a person with skitso. are they hearing voices or are the picking up on something thats really there only the rest of us cant hear it too. maybe another relhm or something. they thing their insane because no one else can hear it and in turn they believe they are insane and so does everyone else. but i think there is a real posibility that insane or crazy might = awareness to thing the rest of us dont hear or see. they just cant deal with itand the ones that can are called a genious. ironic?

That's an old idea about epistemology that comes from the Greeks.  They called it "mantic" knowledge, the kind that you get from an altered state of consciousness.  If you read Plato's "Symposium" you'll see where the great thinkers of the period admired the inspiration that comes upon those who have drunk too much wine, for example.

If we're talking epistemology, I prefer empiricism myself.  But mantic experience can provide a certain kind of perspective.

I think that you have to be aware to be crazy, but you can't be aware of your awareness or it ruins it . . . you follow? If that's true, then I must be very aware!
