Crazy Art Teacher??

Okay..

Today in Art (6th grade), we were doing clay projects... I was talking (yeah, i mean an hour of clay, no talking???) and she was like KRISTINA! NO TALKING! and im like okayy.. so i start talking 10 minutes later (complaing about my snowman-ish bunny) and shes like KRISTINA! LAST WARNING! Hello? everyone else in the class is talking. Why me?? For 30/40 minutes im quiet, until we wrap up our clay projects. all our table was talking while we were wrapping, and when I asked the guy next to me something.

she started yelling at me KRISTINA! LUNCH DETENTION! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY NOOOOO TALKING!!!!!!!! then another kid started talking and shes like Robert- quiet.

WHAT?!

WHAT?!

Shes the only teacher i have EVER gotten in trouble from.. All my lunch DTs (2) are from her.

and i heard her talking to my table.. im gonna move kristina because of her excessive talking... im nervous.

I dont do good with being isolated.

talk to your school counselor or have your parents talk to the principal of your school

Krista, there is only one solution here....Don't talk in her class...  If those are the rules ...they are the rules...You either follow them or face the consequences.

This is the way it will always be...sometimes other people get away with a little more...but she warned you to stop talking, and you made the choice to do it anyway....You have to pay the price for breaking the rule.  It sounds like mabee you should ask your teacher mabee for a seat change so that you are not as tempted to chat.....she may also realize that you want to change your behavior and lay off you a little...but as long as you keep breaking the rules you only stick out and she will keep on you.

sometimes teachers have bad days.  maybe talking to loud or  laughing can just happen to find someone in trouble but believe me you are probably not the only student out there who somehow feels victimized. right now you may feel this is not right but there are bigger problems and you should not allow your self to be overcome with this. If you feel she has been extremely harsh on you sometimes the mature thing maybe to discuss with her how you feel there maybe be an oversight somewhere.

There is a very easy solution here. Do what she says. It's called obeying authority. Learn it now, because one day you'll be doing it your whole life. It's not fair. Get over it.

Im in 6th grade too and she might be racist. But my teachers way worse this one time she flicked a girl off. The teacher might hate you In perticular because she is jealous of somthing you have

That she does not. This one time I got so pissed that I stood up said **** you ***** then chunked clay at her, hit her right in the face. But remember "The only reason a person would hate you, is because they are jealous of you"
