Crazy Doll House Idea... need some help.?

So I was thinking today that I really havn't had any type of designing projects latly, and have come to the desition to make and design a doll house for my neighbor's daughter. It would probably be for he little polly pockets, considering she has more of those then barbies. I was wondering which would be the cheepest I can go. My maximum limit it 55 bucks, but I'd rather not spend all of it on a house, my next paycheck is for other things, so I really can't go over. Any suggestions on where you can get a barbie house or something, maybe a fixer-upper that doesn't require ALOT of hard work, but something simple? Maybe like, 20 bucks? Anywhere?

Tips and help would be loved. =)

Maybe it doesn't have to be the entire house, maybe it can just be a replica of her bedroom on a much smaller scale.

Have you thought of doing a doll house in plastic canvas?  If you need more help just e-mail me and I'll send you a simple pattern.  It may take more time than money but it will be something that will be treasured forever.
