Crazy games for teenagers?

Question

I'm having a youth group over at my home in a couple days. I'm needing games that we can play. We already have a waterwar planned out, I'm just looking for other things to keep us all occupied.

Any ideas are great, the messier/crazier the better, I'm trying to be cost effective as I'm a university student, but throw anything at me anyway!

One idea we had was making them put vaseline on their hands and then wrestle in a ring and the last person in the ring wins.

Another idea was to have a piece of baloney that they have to pass from one person to another using only their mouths

And the final idea was to take pudding and get one person to feed it to their partner blindfolded.

Each person holds a toothpick in their mouth and they have to pass a lifesaver down the line, using only their mouths and the toothpick. (from one toothpick to the other)

Hold and orange in your neck and pass it to the next person's neck.

(Those two games would be in teams.)

I played this at a youth group once, where you had teams or individuals for a smaller group and each person had to eat like 5 saltine crackers and then they had to wistle, then run back to your team mate and that person tried it, I failed, but it was really fun

second, catch phrase, it's a game that you buy, but you don't have to buy it b/c it's really easy to make, basically a timer of somesort (like an egg timer) and a bunch of notecards cut in half (you can get a 100 at the dollar tree for a buck), on each card you have something writen on it like a thing or an action or a phrase (ie German Shepard, Skittles, President Bush, John the Baptist, Shop till you Drop) and you have teams of two or four, depending on the size of the group and each team who can get the other teamate to guess what they are trying to say gets a point, like if i wanted my teamate to guess "german shepard" b/c thats what It said on my card I could say anything before the timer runs out to help them guess the word without saying any of the words (ie, I could say "big police dog" "black and brown" anything but the word) the team that has the most points at the end of the game wins! you get a point for getting your teammate to guess right before the timer, they can guess wrong before the timer runs out just if they dont' get it at all before the timer runs out they dont get a point.

third, I went to a party the other day and they had a pie eating contest except it was a jello pie (in a tiny tin pie plate) with lots of whipcream on top, and a giant gum ball in the middle of the jello, you couldn't use your hands and the first person to get the gumpball out and blow a bubble wins,

my personal suggestion is that when the jello hardens take it out of the fridge for a while before you start b/c when the gumball is cold it does 't want to blow. It was really fun and messy-must be played out side

Ummm.

Everyone playing sits in a circle, alternating boy/girl/boy/girl. Start with one person in the circle, and give them the stuffed animal. Each person in the circle has to kiss some part of the animal, then pass it to the next person. No part can be repeated!



Once the animal has made it around the circle, it is put aside. Now the person running the game tells the group that they must now kiss the person sitting to their right (or in the same direction that the animal was passed) in the EXACT SAME place they kissed the animal. This can be a real surprise to those who have never played this game...



This game generally only works once, since the surprise factor is part of what makes it fun. However, feel free to try to mix up the game to keep it going. For example, first make the players kiss the animal, then mix the circle up randomly so they don't know who they will have to kiss!

Objective: A team racing game where you complete several tasks obstacles.

Game type:

  Active. A lot of movement may be required.

Players:

  2 or more players.

Needed: Balloons, construction paper for the numbers on the floo, a pile of clothes, a list of songs your going to hum, list of character your going to mimick.



Setup: Setup by putting numbers 1, 2,3 etc on the floor so you know which obstacle your at.

  

Rules: Divide into teams of two. Teams race against the clock. When a team starts they run to the first obstacle.

  

Obstacle 1: You and your partner link arms back to back with a balloon in the middle. Pop it with your backs.

  

Obstacle 2: Sit on the floor with your legs flat on the ground in front of you and your arms are linked with your partner again back to back. You will try to get up from the ground with you and your partner co-operating together.

  

Obstacle 3: Run with your partner to next station and pop a balloon with your hands (you get 1 each).

  

Obstacle 4: You will have a person humming a song for at least 10 seconds and you have to guess what song it is.

  

Obstacle 5: A person imitates a voice from a TV show and you have to guess what the character is.

  

Obstacle 6: Put on a pile of clothes and run up to these people with them on and make them laugh.

  

How to win: This is the end. Run to the last station and pop one last balloon to stop the clock. The fastest team wins the prize.

have jeans, a big t-shirt, flip flops, a hat, and sunscreen at one end of the yard and everyone else (split up into teams that is) on the other side of the yard. wen u say go, they have to run and put all that stuff on then run back, take it off and the next person puts it on.  keep goin until one of the teams win

have each person pick a partner then give 'em each a bowlful of marshmellows. they hafta toss them into the other persons mouth

put a bunch *or 2* of bananas in the middle of a towel and have every1 lay down w/ their feet facing the bananas. wen u say go they have to try and peel them each w/ their toes

the classic truth-or-dare

a game called "Surprise"

u get some gross food and cover it w/ a towel. u tie everyones hands behind their back. and wen u say go they have to lift the towel with their mouth and eat whatever is under their towel w/o using hands.

Lol , wow. those are some crazy ideas, but they seem quite fun. :3 maybe instead of baloney use something more stable/smaller, like a peice of candy, [ive used jellybeans before] & a game of truth or dare never fails. :] , spin the bottle could work too.
