Crazy question: Do horses vomit?

Crazy question I know, but I just got a 22 yr old mare. And for the past couple of days when I take her out of the pasture she will stand there and water with food mixed just comes out of her mouth. It doesn't happen all the time like drooling.

No horses cannot vomit. As she is old have you had her teeth looked at recently? She may need them doing as horses with teeth problems will sometimes quid. That's when food and water mixed together will fall out of their mouth because they can't chew or eat it properly. Also as horses get older their teeth fall out and get worn down so its harder for them to eat. She may just need a different type of food for old horses that she can eat easier. If you think it abnormal i would probably get the vet out.
