Crazy stories about when you trusted your instincts.?

I've heard a lot of stories about when people trusted their instincts and decided not to do something and later they discover something bad happened with what they were about to do. my mom said that sometimes her mom wouldnt let her go somewhere and the figured out later that their was like a bad accident there or something. do you have any stories like that? i would love to hear them

Theirs was this one time when i was a kid me and my cousins were gonna shoplift at a store and i had this gut feeling while my cousins were peer pressuring me into doing it so i finally took all the stuff i had and put it back and left out of the store... They got caught and their parents had to pay a big fine
