Creamery Dallas set for winning debut in open class - Mildenhall 375 Preview
The bookies usually do not give much respect to a hound making his debut at top level. The competition in the open class is so tough that it is hard to expect a debutant to make an impact.
However, the punters will have to ignore a few basic betting rules on Tuesday night. After a couple of fascinating victories, Creamery Dallas is in great rhythm, and will be a hard nut to crack in the Mildenhall 375.
R. Dunn’s charge showed such an outstanding improvement last twice that one can easily expect him to thrive at the open level. The black dog was slightly disappointing on his debut, when finishing fourth behind Riverside Amber at Yarmouth.
An awful loss would have shaken his confidence to some extent. But the novice did not let things get worse, and responded in a great fashion. In an A2 meeting at the end of last month, Head Bound’s son demonstrated a flawless show, leading the affair from
pillar to post. With the help of an emphatic performance, he secured the first place by 4 lengths.
Just after a gap of two days, he delivered another impressive performance at Yarmouth, winning an A1 event by one and a quarter lengths. Creamery Dallas felt no pressure on going one step up in the grading ladder, and we expect him to do the same tonight.
Among his rivals are: Doobys Gone West, Goway Louie, Grecian Rocket, Blackrose Ned and Chaotic King. The 375 metres flat race is going to start at 20:00 GMT. The winner of this event will get a cash prize of £150.
Chaotic King is unexposed, and needs to be foot perfect at the start. Doobys Gone West returned to the winning ways last time. Although the brindle dog still needs to improve to win a race of this kind, he can easily be regarded as a major player.
Grecian Rocket needs to be quick at the traps, otherwise his chances will go down. Blackrose Ned remains a force to be reckoned. Goway Louie was an easy winner last time, but at the A3 level.
Both Doobys Gone West and Goway Louie were quite impressive last time, but Creamery Dallas is progressing so nicely that there is no need to look elsewhere.
