For incoming freshman where suppose to create like a tour of the campus(like show them around and stuff and tell them what you do in each place and info about it) well the most creative one gets a free yrbook and i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to make the tour more active or better. Not just like"heres this..theres that.." I think the group is of about 20 kids.

  1. You could do a day in the life type tour.  Your friends could help.  E.g., start in the dorms.  "Sally" is in her jammies.  The alarm goes off.  Her hair is a mess.  She rises and yawns.  The pulls the comforter back and reveals hilarious slippers while stumbling to the bathroom w/ her toothpaste and rubbing her eyes.  Now "James" (who's sporting something ridiculous like a propeller hat and overalls and looking overly spunky for the morning) heads off to the school caf to enjoy his favorite bowl of high fiber cereal and his protein smoothie.  Now it's class time.  "Jeremy" (who is wearing an oversized French beret) is an art student.  Let's follow him to the art building.  "Suzy" (who is wearing horn rimmed glasses and a pocket protector) is a science student.  Let's follow her to the science building.  Etc.  Now it's study time.  Let's follow "Cindy" (Cindy is an uptight skinny girl w/ her hair tied in a bun and large glasses; she goes around w/ her finger pressed against her lips saying "shh") to the library.  Then Cindy can show the students around the library (where to search for books, where to study, where to ask for helps, where to find periodicals, etc.).  Next "Marcus" (the total computer geek who is dressed like an anti-social slug who doesn't shower) can show the computer resource center.  Then Molly (the angry girl dressed like a hippy) will take us to the administrative building.  She's on her way to stage a protest against the smaller sized syrup packets in the caf.  While she waves her picket sign, we'll learn where to pay your bills and apply for aid.  Next, "John" (your most athletic friend, who's showing a little too much skin and wearing a 70s head band and tube socks) will show us where to work out.  Finally "Nancy" (the party girl) where show us where to chill at the student union.  Any questions?
