Create A Great Yu-Gi-Oh Beatdown Deck???

I started playing Yu-Gi-Oh and learned the rules finally after like 7 months without touching them and years of collecting and I'm hoping to play in a local tournament once I find one. I looked at my cards and the easier deck to create for me would be a beatdown. I have browsed through some, but I need a tournament winning advanced format one.

I have essential 4 star Luster Dragons, Sabersaurous, and Chainsaw Insects, Goblin Attack Force, Skill Drain etc... I have strong staple magic and traps and equips like Mage Power. I basically have a lot of the beatdown cards.

If you can create or tell a great beatdown deck (affordable if possible) that would be awesome. I can buy Jinzos, Gene-Warped Warwolfs and stuff.

  1. I cant give you a full list, but getting cards like 3 goblin attack forces and other high attack monsters that switch into defense after attacking, then use a skill drain to negate thier effects so they stay in attack mode.

    gene-warped warwolf, get 3

mage power, united we stand, 3 double summon, put some exiled forces in, lightning vortex, 2 cyber dragons, a big bang shot or a fairy meteor crush would be nice

every monster in your deck should have 1900 atk or more

any monster that doesnt should have an effect that destroys monsters

    this is the ban list

    good luck

  2. Hello. Beatdown decks tend to be very straightforward. I can build a Skill Drain based Beatdown, which happens to be VERY effective in the current metagame. Check this out.

    MONSTERS: 18

2 Fusilier Dragon, The Dual-Mode Beast

    2 Cyber Dragon

    3 Giant Kozaky

    2 Mask of Darkness

2 A Cat of Ill Omen

    1 Morphing Jar

    2 The Tricky

    1 Jinzo

    2 D.D. Crow

    1 Gene-Warped Warwolf

    SPELLS: 10

    2 Allure of Darkness

    2 Foolish Burial

    1 Monster Reborn

    1 Mystical Space Typhoon

    1 Heavy Storm

    1 Premature Burial

    1 Nobleman of Crossout

    1 Book of Moon

    TRAPS: 12

    3 Skill Drain

    3 Solemn Judgment

    3 Drastic Drop Off

    1 Mirror Force

    1 Torrential tribute

    1 Crush Card Virus

The traps may seem a little drastic, but are necessary to keep the opponent in a deadlock, as well as optimizing Skill Drain's effect. This Deck is based off of a very potent Deck played at this year's World Championship.

I hope the answer helped you. Happy Dueling!!!
