The leaf knows

So why not I?

The quiet rock can watch

As I walk by.

She knows the whispers

Hooked on the winds,

The anicent story

Of my begins.

The flame that burns

The trees that sway

The seasons turn

She knows the way.

The way it all

Connects together.

The gentle breeze

That blows the feather

That tickles the grass

That refuses to grow

That hoans the leaf

The leaf that knows.

The leaf's knowledge

Of why we die.

The leaf knows

So why not I?

I don't know how many lines that is, but I wrote it just now. Sorry if you don't like it was a spru of the moment thing. Written in perhaps 2 minutes at most.

do personifcation with trees, flowers, and everything else in nature.

one idea is you're doubting God's existence. and you're asking questions about life.
