The periods being: Precambrian, cambrian, Ordovician, Silurian, Devonian, Carboniferous, Permian, Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous, Paleocene, Eocene, Oligocene, Miocene, Pliocene.

Please note this is for fun NOT homework. I just have rocks in my head.

The Paleozoic periods can be remembered as:

Campbell's Ordinary Soups Develop Carbohydatres Permanently.

The Mesoic and Cenozoic are a little easier to remember.
