Creatine Monohydrate: Good or Bad?

I am contemplating on whether or not to purchase "Creatine Monohydrate" to help me get stronger and faster.

Has anyone taken this supplement and have actual information on the product?

  1. In the off season I take creatine.  It's a great supplement for building muscles faster when you are weight training.  Make sure you drink lots of water when you are taking it to facilitate transport to the muscles.  

    However, if you are taking this during weeks of high mileage, it's isn't going to help as much as you would like.  During the spring I switch to supplements that contain BCAA's (branch chain amino acids) which help the endurance type of muscle.  This is very popular among pros who excel at distance training.  Good luck!
