I have heard that creatine monohydrate spikes insulin production for maximum absorption. Is this safe at all? Im 17 years old and have been working out for about 1.5 years now and wondered if this would have any negative affects on me. I know all about creatine but the thing that concerns me is the enhanced insulin production...will this cause any harm for me? I won't become diabectic or anything will I?? Thanks for any help!

  1. causing ur body to produce more insulin than it naturally does is never a good thing......it could possibly lead to diabetes depending on how often u take it, how much more insulin ur body actually produces, and how much u intake at a time

  2. it is fine to take creatine i'm a natural bodybuilder na would not have the physique i do today with out creatine.

creatine causes a temporary insulin spike which means  that more nutrients are flooded into the muscle tissue speeding recovery which is what creatine should be used for if you have any more problems or questions just e-mail me
