Creating a Dynamic Photo Slider in Flash CS3?

I'm creating a website about photography and want a little slider at the bottom of my screen to have thumbnails of the photos I want to display and when clicked that photo will appear above the slider menu in a bigger size. I am not good at Action Script and need assistance from scratch, well except for the design part; I have that figured out.

You'd be far better off (in my opinion) using Bill Scott's javascript carousel component, you can find it here:

It'll let you create a nice image slider that you can control the design of with CSS, and the fact that you use markup to put the images on your page rather than flash will mean search engines will have a much easier time indexing the content.
