Creating a gerbil playpen... need some ideas?

i have this large cardboard box, i really want to make it a play pen for my pet gerbil. my i need some ideas. i know they will chew the cardboard but i took care of that. i just need ideas on how to make a playpen... should i run a tube from the tank to the playpen, should i fill it with dirt or bedding and let it dig,

so any ideas?

the tube to it a good ide but make it plastic with chew guards you could make like a leveld tower or a maze with treats in the maiddle making the walls high enough so they cant jump over and cheat stuff like that

use wooden blocks make an obstacle thingie ummm......

a small treat area is nice

yeah a little dirt area is real good

well.... a chew area like WASHED concrete blocks that are broken
