Question:

Creating a website using Adobe Fireworks and Macromedia Flash?

I have been using Macromedia Flash Professional 8 for a little while now, and have been learning actionscript and what not. I downloaded the Adobe Fireworks free trial, as it was recommended by someone to use in creating my websites.

I want to be able to create stunning websites using Adobe Fireworks, but I am not sure how. Also, how would I make a website using both programs, such as having a flash title and menu, or a flash background...etc. Can I actually create an entire website using Adobe Fireworks?

  1. Adobe Fireworks is for creating graphics, so you could use that to draw all of the stuff you want on your website and use Flash to put it all together and make the website function.

You'd then need somewhere to host your website, try http://www.freewebs.com/.  They're free, easy to use and allow you to upload .swf files so you could have a whole Flash website on one page.
