Creating an Itunes account..?

I entered my mastercarrd info and stuff

and it says that my method of payment has been declined

why is this??

when u get that it really means "you must be broke, please deposit some money in your account and try again"

To create an iTunes Store account, follow these instructions:

Note: If you have a .Mac account, please skip to the next set of instructions.

   1. Open iTunes (If you do not have iTunes, you can download it from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/).

   2. Choose Store > Create Account.

   3. Read through the Terms & Conditions, check the box if you agree to the terms, then click Continue.

   4. Complete the form to create your free Apple ID (the login you will use with the iTunes Store).

   5. Provide a valid payment method and billing address.

   6. Begin shopping from the iTunes Store.

make sure you change the card to Mastercard naturally it is on VISA.

you may also be putting the wrong safety digits the 3 or 4 digits on the back of your card.
