  1. Perhaps the idea that a creator uses evolution a means for creating?

If you're referring to creationism versus evolution, then it's a debate about the origins of mankind that has been going on for the last century or so.

Basically certain people believe that men and women were created by an all knowing Creator. Others believe that they came about through a slow process where they evolved over extremely long periods of time.

The theory most widely accepted in scientific circles today is that humans evolved from an early form of primate. Proponents of the creationist theory do not accept this because they believe they were created from dirt, not primates.

A famous trial known as the "Scopes Monkey Trial" brought this debate to the forefront in the early 20th century.

    I hope this helps!

  2. OK! OK!,

That's supposed to sound like Joe Pesci, in the movie where Danny Glover and Mel are supposed to guard him; he was irritating and began each sentence with several "OKs".

People who remind you that, evolution is, "just a theory" have no idea what the He!! a theory actually is.

Evolution is actually a theory; it's also accepted fact since it is, verified fact.

Creationism has never been qualified to be called theory and it never will qualify.

Theory has requirements and only those people who don't have a clue what they are use the erroneous phrase..."only a theory"!

So, pay no attention to any statement that contains this gross error in vocabulary.

    The short answer:

Evolution =  proven science, fact, tested and sustained, theory.

Creationism = fantasy, baseless claims with zero proofs, no evidence. It is a claim, nothing more; the fact that it appears popular has no effect whatever on its validity, which, by the way, is nonexistent.

Fact" 7 billion people can all agree exactly that a fantasy is reality and seven billion people will be...wrong!

Reality and scientific fact are never a matter of...

popular opinion, they have requirements which, by the way, are never satisfied with fantasy, hence, the definition.

  3. When scientists began studying mitochondrial DNA (this is DNA that is handed down from mother to offspring) they discovered that they could actually trace humankind down to an "Eve".  I think that creationism + evolution means that both actually coexist because it can be scientifically proven there was a first human woman.

  4. The enormity of the cosmos makes a natural origin of it impossible, because no matter how big a time scale you came up with, it can not adequately explain the vast expanse of outer space.  That is, if the cosmos, all the known universe, had a completely natural origin, no matter how large a time scale you could cook up, even going to a number beyond current mathematics, it would still not be enough time, in accordance to Newtonian laws, to create an expanse so vast, none of us will ever likely truly know just how big the universe is.

You give the accepted age of the universe, in accordance to the laws of physics, even at the speeds celestial bodies travel, the accepted time scale only makes the universe so big, when its likely much bigger than that.  Not arguing from a biblical standpoint, by all logic, the universe could not have had a natural origin.  Its too @#$@#$@ huge, and whatever created it, must have been a being of enormous power.

Indeed, the raw size of the universe makes the whole concept of "chosenness" arrogance of the worst scale, because it assumes being chosen from among the countless trillions to the trillionth power intelligent beings out there.  Even arguing for creationism most creationists don't take into account the vast size of the cosmos.

Also, regarding christianity, did Jesus die for the sins of everyone in the universe, or the sins of everyone on earth?  Or like the Mormons say does every planet have its own Jesus?

Creationism + evolution says that God created the world through evolution.  However, the logic behind it is flawed because the same God that preaches compassion, love, understanding and kind treatment of the weak stands in direct oposition to the theory of natural selection, which is antithetical to the very idea of compassion, that is why therefore the same God who made this world could not have done it through evolution, given the barbaric nature of the theory.  A nature, barbaric, cooked up by a barbarian culture.

Evolution has reached the point of dogma, and the reason it has become dogma, is because those who advance it enjoy doing evil, and they do not like the idea of answering to a higher power, or even the very notion of a higher power because in their arrogance they wish to make themselves God, which is of course the ultimate delusion given that this planet is not even so much as a speck of dust.

  5. It's known as theistic evolution.....the belief that God or a Creator created the first life forms on earth and then allowed evolution to do the rest to bring about all the variety of plants and animals we have today and that have gone extinct in the past. It's supposedly a way to supernaturally explain abiogenesis or "life from nothing"or to join both the Biblical view of creation and the theory of evolution so that they agree with each other....while in actuality, the Biblical account of creation and God's Word cannot be reconciled with evolution at all. God's Word in Exodus 20:11 states that God created ALL things in heaven and earth in six days which is what we read in Genesis 1 and 2 of the creation account. Adam was the first man on earth and Eve was the first woman....the mother of all the living according to Gen 3:20. They were created by God and  had no ancestors...let alone primate ones as evolution teaches...and according to the geneologies in the Bible from Adam to Jesus and on until today, the creation week occurred around 6000 years ago...5768 according to the Jewish calendar which may be in error by a couple hundred years.

Population studies, using known and accepted formulas, show that the current global population of 6.5 billion people is about what you would expect if mankind originated around 4-6000 years ago in agreement with the Genesis creation account and the repopulation after the global flood of Noah. Had mankind originated hundreds of thousands of years ago as evolution teaches, the current global population would exceed the number of atoms in the universe....even allowing for an origin of 25,000 years ago and using the lowest reproductive rates ever seen, the current population would exceed 140 billion....the numbers don't indicate mankind has been on earth for that long.

  6. *Note: remember evolution is a theory....the links between species are purely conjecture or educated guess....No true link has been found between primates (monkeys) and humans

This shows one of the basic issues in the creation-evolution debate. A lack of understanding of science. In scientific language "theory" means the same as 'explanation" So what the writer is really saying is "Note: remember evolution is a explanation."

"No true link has been found between primates (monkeys) and humans".  "True" in this case means "Whatever you say, it's not good enough." The hominids include humans and the apes. They are part of the family Hominidae, of the order Primate. Humans did not "descend from the apes" We share a common ancestor with them and are considered "cousins." Chimpanzees, our closest relative, share a 99% match in DNA. In protein sequencing, the match is closer, no differences at all.  When man's protein sequencing is compared to gorillas there is only two differences in the match with hemoglobin, red blood cells and amino acids. Lastly the antgen-antibody reaction for humans is 97% from chimpanzees compared to 50% for baboons. In other words we're related. DNA is today used to show how closely people are related (as in determining paternity) and to determine if people were at a crime scene (as a means to determine guilt or innocence). It also is used to determine how long ago species split off from each other.

The split from the apes is put at 8 million years ago. That's based both on the fossil remains and the know rate of change for DNA.

Here is a "true link" but likely not acceptable.

To quote Ashely Montague "Science has proof without certainty. Creationists have certainty without proof."
