Creationists; What is you opinion on the first few lines of Sam Sparrows "Black & Gold"?

"if the fish swam out of the ocean

and grew legs and they started walking

and the apes climbed down from the trees

and grew tall and they started talking"

I know that it isn't an accurate representation of evolution, but what do you think?

Who says we're not evolving now? Evolution doesn't occur from one day to the next. Besides, I think the point is that evolution occurs so that the life forms can adapt to their environment. Maybe we're perfectly adapted now and don't require evolution.

ive seen videos of fish that walk with their fins, which means the videos arent 2 or 3 million years of evolution!

if it happens today, the whole concept of evolution being 64 billions years ago seems preposterous.

I think it's what a lot of people believe in place of God creating you and me and. It's hard for those people to have faith at least the size of a mustard seed. I just pray for them. Cause I know I did not evolve from some ape or fish. And the ever present question of mine, "If we evolved, then why aren't we evolving now?"
