Question:

Creative Help Needed! Sartorius Muscle Project.?

For my Anatomy and Physiology Class I was given a project to complete about the sartorius muscle. The teacher said I have to complete a 3-5 minute presentation to give in front of the class explaining the sartorius muscle in detail (origin, insertion and actions). I have extreme social anxiety and giving a presentation is bad enough, but she also said it has to be creative. I am not the creative type! She said it could be in the form of a poem, drawing, etc. Can you help me come up with something, please? :) Thanks! Any ideas and help is appreciated.

  1. If you have PowerPoint (and a projector that connects to a computer), you can do a PowerPoint presentation. Making the slides would be creative. You could use pictures from the web. And people would be looking at the slides and not you, so you'd feel less anxious about talking.

Here are some pictures of the sartorius muscle. You can click on the thumbnails to see the larger pictures: http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=...

If you can't show PowerPoint slides, maybe you can print them out and hold them up.

If you felt really daring, I would suggest showing what the sartorius muscle does by creating a little dance where your leg moves to show how it works. You could talk about how it's called the tailor's muscle and why.
