Creative Maid of Honor Proposal ideas?

I'd like to ask my best friend to be the Maid of Honor at my wedding.

I'd like some creative ideas on how to 'pop the question'. I know she will be thrilled because she thinks I'll be asking my cousin.

Invite her to dinner and wrap up some pictures of brides maid dresses.  Give them to her at dinner and as she is opening them up tell you are going to need her help in picking out the right one, because thats what a Maid of Honor does.  Congrats and Good Luck

Buy her some jewelery (or use a ring pop?) and drop down on one knee and ask her to be your Maid Of Honor.  

Get a copy of an official Subpoena document and have it edited in a graphics program to include her name, the date of the event, etc. Not only would it be a fun way of getting her attention, but she could keep the treasured subpoena as a souvenir of the event. You might even consider this tongue in cheek maneuver for your rehearsal dinner invitations.

I sent my best friend a a note through the mail.

It was a decorative piece of paper and i had a friend who knew calligraphy write, " Will you be my Maid of Honor?" on it and sent it to her. Three days later i got a screaming YESSSSS phone call lol She loves to tell everyone how i asked her.

go to a party store, and organise a day when shes not home and dercorate her hoouse and then get a ring box and put a ring lolly in it and say will u be my maid of honour, LOL

give her an oversized diamond ring from the party supply store....do it like you are proposing to her.  It would be a fun way to tie it to the wedding theme....

all go out for lunch and get little name cards and write were they sit and write the q on here little card

I think it'd be really sweet if you put together like a little slideshow of the two of you. It shows how much you guys have been thru together. And what i did for my maid of honor was I bought her a cute tank top that said Maid of Honor in pretty rhinestones. She loves it :)
