Creative T6100 speakers...Cables not long enough! H E L P?!?

hi, i have the Creative T6100 speakers. basically the cables are not long enough to go around my room (for the surrond sound). what can i use to extend them.

can someone send me a link for an extention i have to purchase please?

any help would be nice!

  1. Just splice some speaker wire onto (or in the middle of) the existing wire.

    Speaker wire doesn't have to be anything special, although proper wire has one conductor marked in some way (eg. different colour, line, ridge) so that you can maintain "phasing". This means if you connect the marked conductor to either the + or - (red/black, etc) terminal on all speakers. If you don't, no damage, but bass will be somewhat weaker.

    Use wire the same size (wire diameter) or larger. You can get it at almost any electronics, hardware or hi-fi store, including Radio Shack, Home Depot and Wal-mart.
