Creative Zen Vision M stuck on Now Playing

Question

I see that there are a number of posts out there with this same problem on various versions of the Creative Vision MP3 player. None of them has a viable solution. Isn't it time for Creative to recall the defective merchandise they are peddling or do they seriously expect to build satisfied customers by selling hundred dollar paper weights?
