Creative Zen or something else?

ok, so I am buying a birthday gift and I want to spend less than $100. I want to get an mp3 player, but i dont know much about them, especially which one will be the best.

I have read a lot of reviews and the creative zen (?) seems to be best liked.

I was wondering if you could tell me if i should go with the creative zen 8GB ($114), sony walkman 4GB ($90), or Nextar 4GB ($60!) ????

I know a lot of people who have a creative zen and they swear by it.

Creative Zen is a good MP3 player. You may also want to consider purchasing a refurbished iPod from apple.com. Go to the ipod section and they will have different refurbs. They are good quality and you can get a nano with video capability for 99 dollars.
