have a backyard party. have about 12 big tables that hold 10 people, paper table cloth is best with. make it a summer theme. have like nice flowers and plants all around. play nice music so everyone can dance. also, about food. there could be an appetizer, entree, and desert with choices.

I like the golden age hollywood theme for elderly women.  You can get posters of bob hope, audrey hepburn, fred and ginger, etc.  For table cloths we got black plastic from the dollar store and bought gold overlays from efavormart.  It was shiny and very pretty.  You can find hollywood decorations at partycheap for really cheap.  We bought our centerpieces from there.  We used black, gold and silver latex balloons and a hollywood mylar balloon from party cheap.  We bought black and gold plates, napkins and cups at the dollar store.  I would have a fruit tray, veggie tray, cheese tray and silver dollar sandwiches/rolls.  You can cater this but you can do it  very cheaply yourself.  You can buy golden age hollywood music CDs and all elderly people can relate to that music.

have a tea party!! you can get straw hats and stick fake or real flowers in them makes really cute table toppers and flowers stick to pastel colors like purple yellow pink etc and have a tea bar grocery stores have a wide variety of teas coffees also you could have different small cakes, scones etc. need ideas contact me [e-mail]
