Creative ideas for presentations?

hi.. i study in the university and i have to do a lot of presentations. i study civil engineering, so my presentations are kinda boring visually.. ok i put colors in power point presentations and some things like that, but, do u know like any creative way to present things? it has to be formal sometimes, but not always....

Once i copied and pasted a bunch of pictures from the internet at the credits on this powerpoint i made and everyone got a kick out of that!

you can add music, flash animations in ppt also. check download.com. you might find softwares for civil engineering projects.

Get your audience moving. Once to prove a point, I gave a brief introduction. Then I divided up the group and assigned them to my premade stations supporting my topic or point. Then we met back together and I had them share their thinking then I had a fantastic conclusion. Everyone was engaged.
