  1. As I have posted before for others........

The best thing you can get for your little one is a small thermos.  It is a great way to send a variety of "hot" lunch to school.  My son took Mac and cheese, roman noodles, spaghetti, soup, etc.  It is a great addition to a lunch.

    Other ideas

Meat and cheese Kabobs (on a toothpick)

Tuna salad, chicken salad or beef salad and crackers

    Apples and peanut butter

    Pasta salad (complete with peperoni)

Crackers meat and cheese instead of a sandwich

  2. my son like to take bpj but i use cookie cutters to cut out shapes like star dinos. ect.

  3. I agree, a thermos is a great lunch accessory.   To warm a thermos, just pour in some boiling water and let stand.   This will help keep the food warm.

spaghetti; spaghetti o's; soup; left over taco meat (send the chips and cheese in a larger container and the lettuce, tomato in another and your son can combine at lunch time).

flavored tortillas instead of bread.   spread with peanut butter, drizzle with honey, roll up and slice into pinwheels.    spread a tortilla with cream cheese and layer with ham and slice into pinwheels.   make a turkey sandwich, add lettuce and tomato, some ranch dressing, cut in half and secure with a toothpick.

BLT.   cook the bacon the night before or buy the pre-cooked bacon; toast the bread and make the sandwich.

Scrambled eggs w/ or without ham and cheese.   Scramble eggs as usual, put into a warmed thermos.

    Hard boiled eggs.

Pancakes or waffles.   Cook or heat up in the morning and cut into strips or bite sized pieces.    send the strips to school in a container lined with aluminum foil to hold in the heat.    Send a small container of syrup for dipping.

Chicken nuggets, either store bought or homemade.    Heat and send to school in a container  lined with aluminum foil.   Send BBQ sauce, ranch or catsup for dipping.

    Crackers and Cheese.

    Meat balls

    Fresh Fruit

    Chips & Dip

    Fresh Veggies and Dip

Bagel spread with cream cheese.   Blueberry bagel spread with blueberry flavored cream cheese.

left over pizza.  I usually warm up the pizza and sent in aluminum foil.

  4. My son likes to have sandwiches on different kinds of bread, english muffins, bagels, tortilla shells
